Yin Xiuzhen: Heart to Heart

Worn clothing, used suitcases and industrial detritus transform into poignant reflections on displacement and the shifting contours of urban life

Part clothbound, the first monograph in over a decade on the found-object sculpture and installations by Chinese artist Yin Xiuzhen (born 1963) includes new commentary by the artist herself on her earliest performance pieces and her major tactile works commenting on memory and globalization.
