Shaped by Place celebrates 40 years of SAOTA's work, presenting in-depth, lavishly illustrated and documented case studies of 12 of the studio's most important and iconic projects.

The volume also features essays by prominent architectural critics and an interview with the studio principals that help to place the work into context while also shining a light on the firm's approach, processes and philosophy; tailored solutions that are innovative, responsive, and rooted in place.
