Helmut Schweizer: Actions

Schweizer's quotidian scenes in three acts are the exemplar of 1970s conceptual photography

Between 1970 and 1976, German artist Helmut Schweizer (born 1946) created more than 100 Actions: three-part plates featuring staged everyday activities and at times absurd moments. Published five decades after its creation, this book presents the series in its entirety for the first time.
