From my childhood to my life as an international student and immigrant in the U.S. and Canada, I dive into the key experiences that shaped then reframed my identity. It all starts with a dream I had when I was fifteen years old, the pursuit of which ultimately taught me the biggest lesson of my life.

This book also recounts my mental health struggles and my imperfect walk of faith. Darkness and pain punctuate my life over the years, persistently leading me back to an all too familiar place. I invite you into my most vulnerable moments as I reconnect with the ways I processed my feelings as a child.

After more than a decade of pursuing an old dream, I finally give myself permission to let it go and continue the journey by embracing the new.
