Denim becomes "the object of cross-pollination," a hybrid of materials and unusual techniques that incorporates elevated craftsmanship and new technologies. For this project, Chiassai enlisted the expertise of over 30 Italian companies, providing readers with a snapshot of the country's most vibrant contemporary fashion studios and their cutting-edge designs. Together with these collaborators, Chiassai proposes his own unconventional interpretations of the most popular fabric on the planet.
