An archipelago is a chain of islands, at once divided and linked by water. The archepelago is a temporal geography of discontinuity, time's movement broken by displacement, migration, or histories of colonial erasure, but traversed by momentary constellations in which fragmentary times and scattered things find their conjunctions.
