Originally printed in 1946, this book chronicles the 134th Infantry Regiment's history from the time they landed at Omaha Beach July 5 - July 6, 1944 until they returned to the United States aboard the Queen Mary after the war's end. In the process they liberated or captured 124 towns and suffered more than 10,200 casualties including over 1,200 soldiers who were killed in action.
